Behrer Woods first grew from fiddling with fallen limbs and storm fallen trees. As COVID came it evolved into kitchen spatulas for friends and family. It became a passion of improving and adapting designs from feedback as well as from my experience as a professional chef. New designs sprang from sanding accidents and unseen imperfections in the wood inspired me. No two pieces are really ever alike. What started as a hobby became a passion. Spatulas led to spoons, cheese knives, cutting boards, and music spoons.
The sources of wood may have originally came from storms but now also come from woodworking businesses scraps and reclaimed wood from Missouri.
